I love watching you guys I grew up in little torch with my grandparents fished my whole life went to school in sugarloaf then key west I miss it so much. I can’t wait to move back someday you guys rock. My son and I went to San Diego last weekend and had a blast with Bonita barracuda calicos and a couple big California sheepshead. Rush. I’ve been trying to figure out if we went to school together. Lol

So nice to see a rig video without someone recommending rods and reels that are just not economically feasible for the average working man!! Nice to see some reasonable priced outfits you are recommending!!

Nice presentation, very informative. Love your 32 Offshore Andros boat, featured towards the beginning of your video. One of best Offshore tournament boats around!!

Great info here. If you can share one on crimping, applications for aluminum, copper crimps, proper technique, choosing correct pliers, ect. Alot of folks on my last trip are still trying to tie knots with 200lb mono and losing fish. Thank you Ali.

My all round setup is basically the second setup you described (same reel) but with a 15-40lb rod, even though it’s a bit lighter it’s and Okuma pch and those can definitely handle a big load

May I suggest you change from the uni to uni knot, to the Albright- to join the leader to braid. They are just as easy to tie but thinner through the guides. I noticed your knot on the fathom 15 combo..I just made this change...on the exact combo, with even the same Spiderwire blue camo...cheers. It is also a more beautiful looking knot...

Would you still recommend the Penn FTH15 star drag for lighter fishing or would you recommend another reel now in 2023?😊

I think one of the most interesting and intimidating styles is kite fishing. I’d love to see a quick video on your kite fishing rigs.

Thanks for the great video. For a 7' medium rod to fill that 2nd setup "if you only have one" setup, would you go with the Penn 25N mated to Carnage 2 Med/Light 20-50lb rating or the Carnage 2 Med. 30-80lb rating? I'm in the LA area, Catalina and occasionally SD SoCal fishing, mostly party boat. thanks
