Great review completely agree as someone who worked as a carpentry apprentice for a housing association I also did plenty of gaining entries and changing locks for the new tenant. Too quick & easy to drill a regular lock. This seems like an awesome piece of kit, will be adding to my wish list. Thank you for your great experienced review 😄

Hi there, great video! and many thanks for sharing it with the rest of us. Out of curiosity, is there a functionality to lock the door remotely? i.e: without being there to lift the handle up or maybe a timer that locks itself after 30 second etc?

Great video my only advice to you would be to get a smartthings hub with module 2 or purchase the one from Yale I had an occasion where all of my fobs failed and the app was down if I had not installed the smart things module and smartthings hub would have never been able to get back into my house

Good evening great video, I’ve been looking at getting one of these, but my only concern is someone breaking the window and leaning in and opening the door

I just bought this same lock for a my front door( yes it's compatible with my locking system) got it on Thursday, fitted it Saturday, but I'm having quite a few issues with it, when I lift the handle from the outside it doesn't lock at all, its still open ; especially if I turn it downwards!....

It makes a really weird squeaky/raspy sound like the mechanism inside is struggling to work, I can only lock/open the door from the inside knowing it's 100% guaranteed, its a complete joke!

I have paired my fobs/card through the app, that was easy, and I can tap them from the out and the green light will show, but remember the door doesn't lock when I life the lever on the outside so the fobs aren't needed and anyone can just turn the handle and enter my home!

I got mine from Costco for around £170, but I am wondering if mine happens to be a faulty one, get a refund and buy elsewhere, ...….and if i have the same issues go with a traditional Yale brand chrome handle with an actual key and a high security cylinder which was what i was considering buying in B&Q before i laid my eyes on this

I have emailed Yale so hopefully they can help me out as a last ditch before i return it!

Hi, would you still recommend it now? I’ve just ordered the conexis L2 and now I’m wondering if it was a mistake because I’ve just seen a video that said there is no manual override if it malfunctions

Can't you also have a Bluetooth key in the app aswell as the unlock button so you use the phone just like the fob instead of pressing the unlock button and waking up the lock?

I bought one of these last year for extra security but unfortunately it wasn’t compatible with my door as I have a automatic locking mechanism so you can’t lift the handle 😞

what happens if the batteries die and if you are outside the house?

Keyless house? Gee, I can't imagine how that won't backfire.

One problem I see with these in the future is the lock tries to actually lock itself when the handle is only lifted a little, so if the handle isn't fully lifted the gearing just sits there grinding away until you lift it fully. That will only last so long. Great product, badly designed.

Useless lock. If you close the door behind you and don't lift the handle the locks stays open meaning anyone from outside can simply walk in without a fob. Big fail
