How to make real ale : Harpoon IPA clone

Hi

My latest beer brew was a batch of Harpoon IPA which I made following the recipe in 'Clone Brews: Recipes for 200 commercial beers' (Tess & Mark Szamatulski ISBN 978-1-60342-539-1).

I modified the recipe based on the ingredients I had available as follows:

Grain: Maris Otter Pale Malt 4.642kg + Lager Malt 458g + Crystal Malt 227g + Roasted Barley 28g

Hops: Chinook 39g at the start of the boil; at 1 hour 15 mins into the boil Styrian Goldings 14g, Cascade 10g and (because I ran out of Cascade) Challenger 4g; then for the last minute of the boil Styrian Golding 14g and Challenger 14g.

Yeast: Nottingham

When ready (after 7 days) I'll put half into bottles to conditin and the rest into a pressure barrel.

Cheers, and Happy Brewing!

Hi Clive do you need to cool the wort or can you just leave it to naturally cool? Also I am local to you, where do you buy your equipment?
