What RESPECT Means to A Man

In this video, learn what respect means to a man. As a woman and a wife, I had to take a hard look in the mirror to see the lack of respect I had for my husband, my marriage, and myself that nearly destroyed what has turned out to be a beautiful, thriving relationship. My hope is that other women can take that hard look in the mirror, too, as a step to becoming happy wives.

I had a wonderfully respectful wife and was widowed in 2019 from cancer. Then met wife number 2 who emasculated and disrespected me until I couldn't take it anymore. The only thing that saved me from years of unhappiness is that I had the contrast of a happy marriage and a toxic one. I knew this was toxic. I have no problem being single forever rather than living with a disrespectful woman. Solomon basically says 5 times in the proverbs the exact same thing. "It is better for a man to live on the corner of a roof than share a house with a disrespectful wife"

I'm a newlywed wife.
And I have personally witnessed the things you talk about in my parents' marriage. It's heartbreaking.
I want to do better for my husband. He is such a good man.
I love your videos! Thank you for what you do! I'm learning that we as wives need to find our fulfillment/happiness in a deeper source first (for me, that's Christ) and pour into our husbands from that "already filled up place."
Thank you for helping open my eyes!

The problem is that any woman listening to this for the first time is going to do literally anything to convince herself she isn't married to a good man. They'll double down and conjure every possible flaw about their husband to be right rather than be accountable.

As men, we are so simple, but women just don't understand us. Here's what men need from their wives in order:
1. Respect (Most important)
2. Peace ( appreciate and praise him as well)
3. Sex
4. Stomach full
5. Loyalty
That's it. Any woman who does these five things will get anything they want from their husbands.

When I drove home from work, on most nights I wondered what mood my wife was going to be in. It was nerve racking. Everything you mentioned Karen is 100% true. The sad thing is doesn't take much for a women to loose respect for a husband/man. That's the scary part.

My goodness you spoke to my heart. I just left a marriage of 24 years to a woman who after I worked 60+ hours a week in the oil industry would screech obscenities at me when I got home for whatever she thought I did wrong this time. She flew around the country on business/vacation trips 3 or 4 times a month expecting me to clean the house, cut the grass, take the kids everywhere and then tell me how I did it all wrong when she got home and scream curse words if I protested her criticisms. She refused intimacy for the last two years and yet had dinner and drinks with other men she”had to because of her business”. I got tired of wondering where and who she might be sleep with and after dealing with the loneliness and heartbreak for years I finally left. I live by the beach in a nice community and nobody screams at me. When I wake up I hear the surf pounding and I run.. in the dark and two days ago under a full moon with the water lit up in the moonlight. Some day I want to share it with someone but for now I just wanna run

As I neared my home after a daily 2 hour commute from my work, I dreaded on what version of my wife I would get. Sometimes I would be pre-warned as my kids would text me to be careful that mom was in a bad mood. Sure enough I would cop verbal abuse and disrespect. Many times I would get a text on the train and want to crash at at a friends place, but always ended up walking through the door and go to bed almost in tears. Now we are divorced and I live peacefully, happily and calmly alone. I am never getting into a relationship again, I guard my self-respect with my life. Men don't want much in realtionships, but the one thing that is a key foundation is respect.

My dog loves me and respects me neither of which my wife of 35 years does. I want to be buried next to my dog when I die.

I heard this a long time ago:
A man marries a woman trusting that she will stay the same and she doesn't.
A woman marries a man trusting that he will change and he doesn't.

I will never marry AGAIN!
My 10 years marriage has left me with an extremely disappointing view of women. More trouble than peace.

Imagine how narcissistic you have to be to have the mindset to treat your husband horribly when he walks through the door after working all day to pay for your house and lifestyle.
I lived through that for many years. I was at the point where I didn't even want to leave the office or take vacations because being at home was far more toxic than my job.

My wife told me that im going to be disrespected my whole life and i needed to learn how to deal with it. My dreams were never going to happen so stop dreaming. She could care less about my day and didn't want to hear about it. Lied about me during our custody trial and now i have 12.5 hours per week with my 5 children. Cant step foot in my home i paid off 7 years early.

My soon to be ex wife thinks I’m too weak to divorce her because I tried so hard to fix things and hold it all together by myself, while she disconnected and told out friends all kinds of crazy stuff.

I’ll be divorced early 2024.

The look of disgust on my ex's face when I had arrived home from work early, to finish my work day at home... "why are you home?" she would ask. Maybe I should have responded with "that's a good question". She treated me so badly.

The sad fact is very few women will chose to make the change. The most beautiful thing what this YouTuber has proven is inner & outer beauty that a male can see. Women are their own worst enemy. This lady is proof of the richness of her beauty. Men yearn for this. Respect to this lady. She is humble, feminine & thus radiates natural & pure beauty. More power to your elbow & hope you the success you deserve 👏

Before my wife and I married, she had a personality that I liked, and was attracted to, after we married she lost that personality that I liked (permanently it seems) and developed 42 others that quite frankly made me want to throw my hat in the house before I entered, just to see what reaction I'm doing to meet. Her usual greeting was (no matter what time I arrived home, and not late by any means), "You're late". I worked a job that ended when the task was done, not a 9-5 office job. The job was stressful enough, let alone the greeting that met me when I came home tired and just wanted my wife and that personality that drew me to her to start with. It's continued on a downward spiral since.

Ladies, respect is air to a man in your relationship: it costs you NOTHING to give it, but if you take it away he will either fight for it or go where the air is better. Furthermore--and this is key--there is nothing wrong in asking your man if he is getting ENOUGH respect from you. If his answer is an ENTHUSIASTIC "Yes!" (or his version of the same) you have understood the assignment.
