Thanks for you video. I have a 2016 GMC Sierra 5.3L and it’s doing exactly what you’re describing. As I slow down to a stop it feels like a down shift and as I accelerate from a stop it jerks hard as if I floored the pedal. I thought it was the transmission then thought maybe electrical issue. I ran my scanner and it’s a random misfire with a blinking CEL which is also giving me an emission code. I changed spark plugs and wired, swapped coils and it’s still a random misfire. Could it be anything else before I jump to changing the throttle body?

is this common to replace whenever my rpm is at a lower rpm than usual? because my 2017 sierra at 45 mph speed the gauge moves up and down. I would like to know!!

Is there an iac valve on these trucks? From what I read it’s on the throttle body but I am not seeing it anywhere near it

I have reduced engine power due to code P2101 it says about throttle control. Not sure if its the sensor or throttle body itself have issues or wiring

What if I did move the blade back and forth slowly a couple time to make sure I cleaned it well ? Should I be worried that I broke it or messed it up ?

Great tutorial video, you guys are they only people to go in-depth about throttle replacement and cleaning procedures, and reprogramming the (ECM), or re-learn the new idle. I cleaned a TB on a 2008 Chevy Tahoe cause of the engine code, and I finally had to see a mechanic top slap one of those 5-k computers to get the idle correct, cost me $85.00. My question is how successful is the manual re-learn procedure on my 2015 Silverado, if I clean the TB, Would I have to repeat what I did for the 08 Tahoe? Please reply, it would be greatly appreciated!!!  Thanks in advance.

Changed mine but now when in park it will idle high to 2000 RPM then it will drop

I have pushed open hundreds of throttle body blades / butterfly's open and cleaned everything with carb cleaner or Sea foam and never had problems. Why would you tell people to not take cleaner and clean it out ? I would say don't submerge it in cleaner or clean it in a parts washer, but it's perfectly safe to clean it, besides carb or throttle body cleaner evaporates fast.
