I just recently purchased a master built smoker. After watching your Dino rib video, I smoked some. My very first use of my new smoker. The Dino ribs came out perfect. So now I will be smoking the pork ribs as per your video instructions. Thanks man!

Great video! As a novice smoker, I have watched a bunch of these videos from other smokers. I have a Master Built Electric Smoker as well. So, this weekend, Labor Day weekend 2023, I decided I was going to smoke ribs for the first time. When my family came over after about 4 hours of smoking the ribs, my brother-in-law (who smokes a lot back home) asked me how they looked. I opened the door to spray them with my vinegar/water solution, and he'd noticed my water tray was empty. I DIDN'T KNOW I was supposed to have water in the pan down below. None of these videos mention that! A huge oversight on my part. However, with my thermometer inserted, the temp was about 170 internal. I added water and let it cook for another 2 hours or so. The internal temp hovered around the 175 mark as I was hoping to get some moisture into the meat. Well, I pulled the ribs off after about 5 hours total (I didn't wrap in butcher paper as I had planned to. Because of the missing water situation, I was flustered and forgot). They weren't "Fall off the bone, " but they were juicy and tender!! Try and try again until it's right!

Gonna make mine this morning and gonna follow some of your tips bro thanks... The only thing I do different then most people is put chicken broth in the tray instead of water....

I have the same smoker. I never wrap my ribs. I smoke em for 3.5 hours. Then bbq sauce for 30 minutes. They come out perfect. But those ribs look great.

They look perfect tbh. And the way you describe them as "not the fall off the bone" type is further confirmation to me. I don't want any damn fall off the bone ribs, I want a little tug when I bite into it *pause*. Good stuff my guy👍

Could you fit more than 3 rack ribs in that 30” smoker at one time ?

How long did you reckon you let the ribs sit with the rub to get that tackiness? Should I season the ribs with the salt and rubs then Saran Wrap overnight for that tackiness?

They look freaking awesome! I just bought this smoker myself and looking forward to using it. I am curious why on Gods green earth you chose margarine instead of real butter? Margarine is poison.

What are the ingredients you used to wrap in the butchers paper?

PRO TIP: Use an AMAZN SMOKER tube that uses pellets inside the electric smoker... You NEVER have to open the smoker the ENTIRE cook... the pellet smoke from the tube lasts for 8 hrs (12in tube). You'll NEVER EVER use chips or other method again.
