Just upgraded my Nakamichi 7.2.4 to the Sonos Arc set up (two Gen 3 subs and two Fives as rear surrounds). Very noticeable improvement in sound quality, over all bass, ease of use, and looks. I was able to place the Subs and rear surrounds in optimal positions being wireless. I had my Nakamichi rear surround and dual subs 1 foot from my couch because I couldn't move the wired surrounds further back and subs closer to the TV. I now have my Sonos subs on either side of the soundbar 17-18 feet from the couch and the Fives 9-12 feet behind the couch in the rear for a more immersive sound.

Loving this channel so much. My home is due for an update on entertainment systems so I’m learning from all these videos.

This video could really do with an update to mention the new Sonos ERA 300 speakers to get a better overall Atmos experience when used with the Arc Soundbar

Will I be able to play the tv sound from my Arc to all Sonos speakers through the app?

You mention setup connected via router for the many streaming channels, BUT I have freesat and dvd player connected by HDMI cables to the tv, so how do these connect to the Arc or will they not work.

Did you get Alexa to work. I didn't and Sonos support refered me to Amazon support. They apparently do not sell a compatible soundbar. But anyway I would not add Alexa due to privacy after thinking about it.

Audio went to the Samsung TV speakers and I can't get back to the Sonus Soundbar. What steps are recommended?

Just purchased an Arc to replace my Play Bar. My existing system has a large bass and (2) Play 3's. My question is are the (2) Play 3's good to use or are the 1SL a better choice?

Hi everyone! I have a couple of questions.
I’m providing this system (arc+sub+one SL pair) in a house I’m renting by the week.
Since I’m not there with the setup app, I need to know how often does the soundbar need the app after the initial setup.
1. Is this a one-time setup and you can just enjoy it, without ever needing the app again?
Or do the components unpair sometimes and you need to go through setup again?
2. Does it always turn on with the Tv? I suppose you can just use the tv remote for sound volume and need nothing else?
Thank you

Do you need the Sub Gen 3 with this or would the Sonos Arc alone be fine?

Good video. What do you do though if you have multiple devices? I have a traditional receiver in my current setup which has multiple HDMI inputs and then a single output to the TV. How can you accommodate this with the Sonos Arc - do you have to buy an HDMI splitter box?
