I’m an  user and all in on the ecosystem. I am however also a Sonos user and do have a Sonos Arc soundbar which was the main reason for getting these. The audio quality is excellent and the TV swap feature is awesome! Sonos unfortunately still have a lot of work to do with their App, as it still has issues. The Airpods Max is 4 years old, more expensive and I hate that you can’t switch them off, ever - and let’s not start on that carry case 😬.

I still love mine. They work great – I agree I don't use the app. Switching between devices could be smoother, but it's genuinely a nitpick. I don't mind the operation sounds, but wish there was an option to include a battery indicator on power up like some Bose products do. The reason I won't use any other headphone is because they're super light, and fit my head so comfortably and securely, but not so much that i get a headache from the clamping like with the airpods max. I have fallen asleep in them by mistake.

White version takes some extra care to keep the ear cups visually clean, because i wear makeup. But i also don't mind cleaning them because the materials are easy to maintain.

Just bought these used for 200 bucks when new in my local market was 250 and was delighted with their sound, build quality, transparency mode and noise cancellation. I also liked the function of transmitting sound from the soundbar, the sound is actually a little worse, but for my purposes, using headphones as a headset for communication in such a scenario. before that there were sony mx4, beats studio pro, airpods max and all of them had significant drawbacks for me. Sonos turned out to be the best choice in terms of all the characteristics

Love my Ace. Build quality, great ANC, sound quality, premium materials and arc Ultra makes it great choice.

I really like them, they are so comfortable and well made. ANC and sound is good as well. I also love the content key, it’s easy to use and much better than touch controls.

I have the Sonos products (3 including the soundboard) and no Apple product, so I think this is a win, especially with the quality of it and some saying it is glasses friendly.

I don't understand what you mean by "if you use Android and have other Sonos products that's when it gets annoying" I guess you mean if you use Apple Music? If you are an Android user, you are more likely to use Spotify or Tidal, both of which support casting direct to Sonos products - otherwise if you use a streaming service that doesn't directly support Sonos like Youtube Music, you can just use the Sonos app - which admittedly was a disaster there for a while, but is pretty good now.
The app on Android is actually better than the iPhone app, other than not having Trueplay tuning on Android, I find the Android versions volume button feature incredibly useful, and when I am forced to use my iPhone find it very irritating that it is missing, having to either go over to the speaker or mess around with the screen - also the Android app is just smoother and slicker - though admittedly a lot of that might be because my iPhone is very old (iPhone 11) whereas my Android is a Pixel 9 pro - even so it still ran better on my old Pixel 6. Otherwise they are basically identical to use.
I would have considered the Airpods, but I'm not big into the Apple ecosystem, though I have something like a dozen Sonos speakers including 2 soundbars - so I think it does make sense for me even though my home is very much Google based. Perhaps if Apple had an updated version of the Airpod max, but they are old now and just lacking in things I really need as an often all-day wearder - primarily the relatively poor battery life, outdated version of Bluetooth, and with being so heavy I can imagine after 8 hours they would be quite fatiguing.

Do you have to use to app for these headphones? I know with the speakers you do but what about the headphones?

boycotted Sonos after we spent £££ on their "flagship" speaker, shortly before they announced they were no longer supporting it, and killed it with forced obsolescence.

My question is, are they more comfortable than the Airpod Max. The Max's hurt me, so I'm looking for a good alternative in the high end spectrum.

Audio swap is not great. Sound quality is not as good while using this feature and the max volume level drops compared to standard listening. Design, build quality, controls, sound quality, ANC, and aware mode are all combined reasons to own these. Even at MSRP.

This video deserves more likes lol. Very helpful information for deciding whether or not I buy these!

I love the design, the physical buttons, and how thin it is (including the case). However, Sennheiser Momentum 4 sounds so much better, priced cheaper, and with a battery that lasts much longer too.

So does the Lossless audio wired connection not work with an iPhone?

I do have Sony wh1000xm4 from last 3 years last month I bought sonos ace i can say it's just bit expensive but much better than Sony wh1000xm4 . Sounds perfect nice and comfort battery backup is same like Sony. Just the noise cancelation system is lower than Sony

Sonos got it right the first time! Whee as Apple it’s taken 3 iterations and they still don’t come close to ACE

I have a comment: the manufacturer states that Sonos works with APTX Lossless, while Android phones use APTX (and nothing else). Therefore, with Android, they will connect using SBC (unfortunately) or AAC (barely acceptable). I found this information on the internet. Is it true?

i think mine stopped to have a proper noise cancelation i can hear all people around, just in 2 month.
