Been painting my own homes for decades. Wish I’d had your instructions years ago! Never too late to learn more.

Your Videos are a great source of tutorials for me. No matter how many years I have been painting, constant reviewing keeps me up to date and refreshed for the next job. Thanks a lot for the time you spend in sharing your knowledge, experience and skills.

You’re very thorough I had a comment and before I received an answer back from you it’s contained in the video that is still rolling! Seems you’ve anticipated all the questions that could possibly be answered and present them in a very professional and articulate Manor just an excellent serious man!!

25:30 that’s what I do too! As a newer painter it’s validating to know I’m using proper methods and thought process. It’s all about perspective…no one stands next to a wall and looks straight up ..they see the wall from a distance so the cut line on the ceiling ever so slightly looks better..and opposite in a vaulted area and random places..gotta keep your thinking cap on!

Try the Wooster Ultra Pro Firm 3 inch. It keeps a nice tight edge. Also when you roll your walls, just push the edge of the roller into the corner. I normally use a 3/4 inch Wooster nap when I roll walls. Keep in mind that when you roll the corners with a 9 inch roller that it will leave swirl marks on opposite side of the corner. You will need to roll the other side of the corner up to the edge of the corner without touching the other wall to remove those marks. If there is any missed places you can use a brush and drag it down the middle of the corner to fill in those missed places. Also as far as hat banding or haloing goes, make sure you box all of your paint together before you paint. Make sure every gallon is mixed together very well or else your chance for a color difference between cut and roll is very high.

I literally was going suggest the Wooster brush and then u said it. I tried the Purdy clear-cut and it was ok for me but I prefer the Wooster chinex... ♡ and I want to add that I was an ok painter before I started watching your videos. I have learned soooo much. I tell people about you all the time, so hopefully it has helped your channel. With all that said thank you for your videos and nothing you have said hasn't not worked. I just seen the hook with the brush hack and it's brilliant can't wait to try. Again thanks for the help, I currently am painting professionally now thanks to your help.

Hello just wanted to say thank you for the videos!
We are new home owners and neither one of us are super handy. I have been watching tons and tons of videos on how to paint, learning tons of new things, and I tend to favor your videos, especially as of late now that we have worked on a couple of rooms now.
Tons of people try to sell the way they do things and the best or the easiest or so on. One big things I have seen is people keep saying "You dont need masking/tape just use the brush." You are so far the only person saying that just using the brush takes a lot of time for someone to learn how to do... and we have the paint marks to prove it (on the ceiling, my bad).
So just wanted to say thank you for all the help you have been!

Thank u for videos. After over a decade cooking for a living, I've finally decided I want to paint for a living. Some of my family does it. After helping my cousin for the past month, I have landed full time work and want to start my own painting business someday soon. My wife wants to do it too. Your videos have helped a lot. Much appreciated from North Florida!

Thanks, Chris! I ran a painting company for a few years. I have heard it said, "Any idiot can paint." I quickly learned there is a difference between a laborer and a skilled painter. Thank you again for sharing the tips and tricks used by a skilled professional painter. Fact is...as you aptly point out...it takes years to gain the skills you are sharing. Keep up the great work!

Great videos on painting. I've been painting for 30 plus years and still learned a few things. We all paint our on way but basically the same end result. I use a 3 in block brush it holds a lot of paint. Love the 2 gallon bucket! I use small trash can bags as a liner. Once you get it down and taped it makes easy clean up. We use 18in rollers for everything. Don't think I have a 9in frame on my van. Love the hacks with the 3m masker. Keep up the good videos.

Great tips Chris, I tried your tip of holding my breath as I did my cut ins and it made a big difference. I’ve been painting for years and cut ins have always been a problem for me. Thank you both for sharing art in videos. It always fun learning new techniques. I really enjoy painting it’s very rewarding looking back at the end of your hard days work and see what you’ve accomplished.

You guy's make it look so simple, has helped me tremendous. I've learned alot, not a pro by far, but have evolved to a better home owner painter. Will watching all I can and reverting back if I feel I'm stumped. 👍🏻😂

That last 10 minutes of video was really awesome with camera angles on brush cutting in. I graduated after years of watching your videos to Rembrandt 6420 and/or Corona Cortez
