Cut in so much in my life I laughed! Great advice for anyone looking to up their game. I go right to left and with my wingspan I can cut a ceiling in lightning fast, that's why I laughed. If I held my breath I would slow down so much. Awsome job!

Hold the handle further from the bristles, you’ll see the line being made easier plus better on your wrist😊

I have been painting for over 15 years and the patience it takes to get good with a brush is really a skill. Some people can't cut for S***. Always keep a wet rag and five in one on hand. I have no time to babysit on the jobsite. Those cuts look good. I can tell you were trained by an old school painter.

I figured this technique out just by cutting in for many years. It really does work.

Nice cuts. I been painting 25ish years and the only thing I do is load my brush a little lighter and use slightly more pressure making sure the tapered part of the bristle is in contact with the wall. I carry quite a bit of speed with both hands. Other painters watch me and say wtf you were just using your right hand. I will say that color is unforgiving with straight lines

Best and stress free method is to use the painter tape on ceilings and anywhere as needed and the results will be perfect…I painted all my home rooms using painter tapes… 😀

When do u cut in a wall versus putting tape on the ceiling? What order do u paint the room? Ceiling, then trim, then wall?

How to cute in (trim) on texture between ceiling and wall when it’s lumpy? So not a smooth transition

I saw a trick to use a post card or card of some sort and place it on the vertical part of the roller and having the card on the ceiling, to prevent the paint from transferring and you can roll away! It applies to baseboards too, I’m about to use this technique here shortly on my walls, hopefully it works well

What kind of brush is that? I notice that it holds alot of paint but hardly any drips.
