Exactly!!!: 2 unbelievable examples:

By 2 weeks per month hunger, only some crumbs to just survive (treatment of malignant Narc), I got fat instead of looking like a skeleton!!!
2) My muscles are so broken down that I have problems even by walking, , including vein problems (isolation and control of not leaving the apartment).

2. Both are related to the increased cortisol level caused by the abuse and constantly fear.
Gymnastics to build muscle gave NO RESULTS after many months!

I immediately healed within 6 months from chronic issues when I separated from my narcissist wife. I was not sleeping and had 4 surgeries in 6 years for chronic issues. None of those surgeries helped. Only after separating did I heal spiritually and then my physical body followed in healing very quickly. Almost pain free after 6 months.

I told my family that if I would have stayed I would have died ! That’s how I literally felt . Nobody can comprehend it unless you experience it first hand . You think you are coping with the ghosting, the lies, the manipulation, silent treatment until your body and mind can’t take no more . I left and went for counselling and my first words to the councillor were I think I’m going crazy ! Talking to someone who is a professional really helped me as family and friends didn’t believe me or looked at me like I was the crazy one as he is such a nice chap ! As I read somewhere covert narcissists can kill you without laying a finger on you .

Low self esteem, physical aches, overwhelming stress and no energy to want to care for myself was my experience and I felt a mess and looked a mess. Slowly I am recovering and I so grateful for all I have learned on narcissist and the effects of enduring such relationships.

Thank you really sharing because I have been dealing with numerous health issues. Arthritis, Osteoarthritis, Rehumatoid Arthritis, inflammation, excruciating pain, infirmities and afflictions. Neuropathy, swelling in feet & ankles. My older brother has problems with his knees & he needs surgery. I have been feeling lethargic and without energy.

I had hair loss and Ulcerative colitis from my narcissistic abuse. I confirmed this when after I’d gotten about every medical test one can, 2 weeks after no contact my body started to feel healthy again. No more chills fever extreme pain in my abdomen no more inability to eat (although I lost significant weight) no more headaches and body aches, my neck stopped hurting. My strength has mostly come back. Thank Jesus.

I went through it years ago, married for 18 years. I hear from dentists now that my teeth are ground down. It was from clenching them for 18 plus years.

Also hair loss. My hair used to be so thick it broke brushes. I could hardly do braided pig tails bc the hair was so thick and chunky it looked ridiculous. Now? I have two thinning balding spots had to cut my waist lemgth hair to shoulder length and its flat and stringy. My natural wavy thick hair was one of the most complimented things about me. It was my identity. It was my confidence. Its gone. Within 2 years it went from elegant goddess hair to im looking at wigs. Whats worse is the person who put me thru it all acts like im being dramatic or lying. May sound stupid but its been extremely traumatic for me. Losing my hair. The stomach ulcers, the fatigue, the headaxhes, the muscle spasms from stsying tensed up, the insomnia, id take them all worse than they are to have my hair still. 😢 im 35 and i just dont see my hair recovering.

My God is this accurate. Abuse damages everything from your mind, body and future. You have to address it and care for yourself. Don't think things will heal itself on its own.

Definitely, it’s taking years and years. Physically and mentally

Cancer and dementia are 2 health issues related to living under constant stress and fear. Most of the society don't want to see the relationship between cancer patients and their abuse history. They're, often, victims of systematic abuse with the consent of their families and society in general

What he says is so true. Exactly what I am going through.... He is so evil. It is hard to wrap your head around how cruel and evil he really is.

I found that eating small amounts of food no more than twice a day helps me

I had insomnia for a year and it got progressively worse until I had a very supportive person in my life who has helped to restfully sleep again. I believe I had symptoms of a (light) PTSD. I also either had a worsening of a potentially pre-existing health condition I might have had in a latent way or I possibly got a new health condition. It was a hard time and it was difficult to remain positive and hopeful. But things do get better and it’s possible to heal and to grow.

Yep. I ended up a week in the hospital with heart issues. The one benefit is that it became my low point and it's all improved since then. 😊

The financial fallout perpetuated my illnesses after escaping, I suspect!
