Rising car insurance rates has some seeing red

Motorists in South Florida are complaining about the rising costs of auto insurance.

There’s not a single thing a “customer” can do when it comes to this…. Monitoring your driving isn’t going to stop an insurance company from charging astronomical rates.

I called my insurance to renegotiate my rate after it was raised 37% from one 6 month policy to the next. First they tried telling me it was because of how bad hurricane season was, and I informed them there were no hurricanes in Miami this summer. Next he told me that it was also due to all the kias and hyudais being stolen in the midwest. I informed him i drive neither brand of car, nor do I live anywhere near the the midwest.

In addition, the tort-reform act passed back in March was supposed to "alleviate" the insurance carriers' losses.

Don't worry, folks! Ron DeSantis is on the case, fixing this problem. He's solving it by attacking Disney and making sure your kids don't talk about gay people or learn the history of slavery in the US. That'll certainly take care of this issue! 😂😂😂
