Measuring distant objects | Triangulation, parallax & radar method | 11th physics | lesson 1
Показать описание
hey guys this is the high school scientist and in this video i have explained some of the basic measuring methods... THE TRIANGULATION METHOD is used fro objects which are relatively close to you fro example measuring objects like trees and buildings...
PARALLAX METHOD is used to measure objects at extreme distance like near by stars or planets....
(NOTE : when measuring using parallax method please make sure that the imaginary parallel lines are in the path of the moon and perpendicular to the earths diameter )
AND YES i know that the earth is rotating and so its very difficult if not impossible to measure with the exact 90 degree angle... but its not necessary that the angle should be exactly 90 degree, if there is a variation in the angle it can be taken as an error and can be rectified using simple trigonometry and a calculator
i hope you enjoyed watching the video... and if you did then just spread the word and let your friends and classmates know about this Channel
