Star Wars what if Mace Windu trained Anakin?

I hope you enjoy today's video. I think that there are two options with Mace as a master to Anakin: one is a light version where Mace is able to help Anakin balance himself. The dark version would have Mace driving Anakin into the arms of Palpatine quicker than the original timeline. This is my take on a light side version.

Honestly, after Qui-Gon's death the best options for Anakin's master would be Mace Windu or Yoda. Obi-Wan did what he could to train Anakin properly, but at the moment when Qui-Gon died he was simply not ready for padawan so hard to train as Anakin was. Mace Windu would be someone who could keep Anakin in the right place, he could be harsh master, but also a respected one in the eyes of Anakin. Yoda on the other hand would be great too thanks to his hundreds of years of experience and unrivaled knowledge about the force. Certainly a person from Anakin could learn a lot. But still i think the best option would be Qui-Gon himself. He could understand Anakin better than anyone, and since Anakin respected him almost as much as a father he never had, Qui-Gon also would habe no problem with teaching Anakin some discipline. Of course Qui-Gon was a bit different than the rest of Jedi, and Anakin would be similar, but i doubt that he would turn to the darkside while having experienced and trusted master like Qui-Gon on his side.

I’ll admit iv always hated the character mace windu
But I always loved his purple lightsaber, vapood & shattered point

But even I must admit Mace is one of those Jedi masters that could have prevent Anakin from turning to the darkside

Star Wars Corner Yoda vs. Mace Windu I think Mace Windu win because he could use both the light and dark side combine and plus he was The Grandmaster maybe you should make what if Mace Windu never gave up the position of Grandmaster

Plo Koon would be an interesting choice to train Anakin as well. He was the only other Jedi besides Obi Wan who was more understanding of attachments and was known for how much he cared about the Clones under his command, but was also wiser like Qui Gon and could've acted more as an authority figure and role model to Anakin as well. Plo Koon is also one of the only Jedi to ever learn Force Judgment and could've passed on some sick abilities onto Anakin. I also think he would've given Anakin access to the restricted section of the Jedi archives, effectively nullifying Palpatine's ultimatum for Padme.

I would have gone a different route to be honest. Mace had a student that turned to the Dark side already. I would have had Anakin still turn. Anakins nature was to be rebellious, so being even more strict would have pushed him faster I believe.

I like the what if but you forgot two major points imo. 1 Anakin was plagued with visions of his mother dying. 2 Palpatine wouldn’t reveal himself to Anakin, Anakin wasn’t distrustful of the Jedi

When you realize that Mace is basically the most badass character in all of the Star Wars universe.

This wouldn't change anything, bit would be worse for anakin. Obiwan was the perfect master for Anakin. Mace led deoa bilaba to the Darkside and sora bulq. Yoda led dooku to the Darkside. The perfect master was obiwan, although skywalker went dark some can argue it would be the will of the force. Don't forget it was mace that petitioned for obiwan to be skywalker's master, he saw fault lines in shatter point that connected obiwan and Anakin lives in galaxy changing scales.

I like the points you made about Vapaad and how Anakin might learn to tap into the dark side responsibly, but I also think that Mace would be a terrible teacher for him because he would be of absolutely no help regarding Anakin's trauma and emotions. He could potentially fall even faster than with Obi-Wan.
