Damn. That’s just sad. Instead of Anakin having a great ending, the Sith being defeated, and the war ending, Anakin gets destroyed, Palme dies, and the Empire takes over, plus over 1 million clones becoming hermits and realizing that they have no future and were being used.

I think there would actually be a lot of fall out. The Jedi would have to explain Palpatine’s death to the galaxy. Only two people were there when it happened, both Jedi knights, and public opinion of the Jedi probably would have already not been great. The Jedi would probably go through what Mace Windu discussed with Yoda and Ki-Adi-Mundi and have to control the senate until a new supreme chancellor was elected. In the end, Palpatine’s damage to the republic and the Jedi was already done and I believe some Jedi on the council would turn to the dark side, becoming tyrants of the republic, leading to a new Jedi civil war, a new Sith Lord rising and either Anakin kills him or her, or he becomes the Sith Lord, takes on an apprentice, but is redeemed by maybe Padme or his children and winds up sacrificing himself to destroy himself and his apprentice, still fulfilling the prophecy of the chosen one.

That’s actually wrong as if Mace Windu killed Sheev, he will soon be corrupted by the Sith forces and then he will become the Sith Lord. And because Mace Windu is literally one of the strongest Jedi in the Old Republic, he will soon be undefeated.
