Huh. I always wondered if i didnt cut my nails for a long time if the part of my nail that's actually connected to my finger(meaning the pinkish part as opposed to the whiteish yellow part that we cut off) would actually increase, and move forward(since I used to use my fingers, or a knife, or my teeth sometimes to shorten my nails, and I'd end up ripping them off too close to the finger, moving the "cuttable" section further back. If you follow me.)

I grew my nails for about a year, and I got to a LONG length. like super long. i’m talking long acrylics long. BUT then i got a problem where my nails started lifting from the nail bed and i had to cut it completely down. it was a sad day.
