Back in the day, like around 1980, we would meet once a week to move the board. During the week was the time to negotiate. We were all attending university at the time and would meet at the student union. It's a great game of strategy. Lots of backstabbing necessarily occurs.

You actually messed up on the support rules. The supporting unit must be able to move to the province, the supported unit wants to go, not where it is now. Imagine it attacking the enemy together but returning to their position at the end of the battle.

This actually feels more realistic in the convoy scenario, as you can't build a death star at home and send it as one unit.

To be honest I still have this game in the shrink wrap. I do want to get it to the table, but I'm hesitant to risk the breakup of the gaming group
