Most people only know their disco era. I especially love their early music from the 60's-70's. Barry has a great falsetto voice. This song is the best of the Disco era and one of my favorite Bee Gee songs, but Bee Gees had a 50+year career and disco was only a small part of it. Very talented and diverse.

And yup, that's John Travolta. This music vid incorporates footage from Saturday night Fever, plus BG stage performance footage. the Bee Gees provided the lion's share of the soundtrack for Saturday Night Fever and its sequel Staying Alive.
This is the only known footage of little brother Andy performing with The Bee Gees. He was a solo artist, never an official BG member. Barry was close to making him an official member, probably partly to keep an eye on him, but Andy died of drug-related problems shortly after his 30th birthday. All of the Gibb Brothers are now deceased except Barry, so they can no longer tour.
The Saturday Night Fever soundtrack is, by some accounts, the best-selling album in history.

I was just a kid during this era. But I got to dance like Actor John Travolta from the movie Saturday Night Fever.
It was totally the bomb. I feel privileged today to be part of the 70's- 80' s era movement.
