I live in Central Oregon near a HUGE Apple server center next door to a HUGE Meta server center. They are sucking the groundwater dry and use enough electricity to light a couple dozen major metropolitan areas. They provided TONS of new jobs - while they were being built. No one skipped any chip. Due to shortage of chips after pandemic Apple had to use older chips in iPhone to meet the demands. Now they are creating baseline for iPhone 16 with same chip series. Do not forget iPhone 15 pro series had already A17 pro chips. I think the major design change will come when Apple starts making its own 5G chips for which currently they have to relay on Qualcomm and pay 100 usd for each chip.

Im gonna get the promax once its available in the Philippines. Ive been using a samsung a50 since 2019, its gonna be a huge leap since its a switch in ecosystem. Ive been an adroid user since then and now its time to switch. Hopefully I wont regret it.

I think there’s not much too look forward to if you’re on iphone 14 and 15. But for me coming from the iphone 11, the 16 is a huge leap indeed.

I would love more AI tools on the phone, I have a 11 at the moment, as it could be quite handy as I work in Social media and Marketing. But....As I live in Denmark, which is part of the EU I sadly think it would be quite a while (if at all) before such tools could be available on our versions of the iPhone 16 (or future models) :(
