21C is not the average high in B.C. in the summer. Where do you get your info from? The average high in Vancouver is 23C and Kamloops (by Lytton) is 29C. 21 is cold in B.C. in the summer

I researched Lytton BC a bit. Lytton has some Death Valley type geography happening that causes extreme localized heating under the right circumstances. It was already a place that is known for setting records. From the town's website: "Lytton’s climate varies, offering either a continental or Mediterranean climate, with guaranteed warm summers. Heat waves do occur in Lytton which has sometimes made it the hottest spot in Canada .... Lytton and nearby Lillooet share the second-highest temperature ever recorded in Canada. On July 16 and 17, 1941, the temperature reached a record 44.4°C (112°F) on both days in both communities. Lytton also holds the record for the hottest temperature ever recorded in the province during August after the temperature reached 41.8°C (107.2°F) on August 14, 2004."

If annual average temperature increases 1c, how much more of Canada will actually be livable, and available for farming?
2c?
3c?
