A heat wave in Western Canada that led to the highest temperature ever recorded in this country on Sunday will continue for several more days, says CBC News meteorologist Johanna Wagstaffe.

I woke up last night, towel dried the sweat off of me, changed my sheets, guzzled some water and went back to sleep. I woke at dawn covered in sweat and with stiff muscles from dehydration. This is nothing short of brutal!!

Here in NB its 30 feels like 40 and it's just a regular day at work...in a kitchen....with no air conditioning.

From Vancouver it's really hot currently, everyone is incredibly hot and has been going downstairs to relieve themselves from the hot air, currently upstairs there's a lot of fans running.
