the reason religion exists is to rid parents of guilt their kids are going to die and it's actually their fault. kids have no choice it's the parents choice

The world sure could do with this incredibly knowledgeable and complete omnibus of the English diction back. Even in the face of death. Christopher Hitchens remained stable, perfectly spoken and above all without fear. He knew there was a better way and what is the biggest loss, is he knew how to go about putting it in place.

If all religions died out, *humans* would see to it that some form of religion came back and be *promoted* again, but with totally *different doctrines and dogma* than the current religions.

Some of them must be man-made because of their contradictory beliefs. It follows that there is a background probability that all of them are more likely man-made than the probability that at least one is true.

Just think about it, if faith and belief were so reliable, there would be a knowledge of one true religion and one true God only, just like there is a knowledge of one sun in the sky only. But there are many religions all believing by faith in the many Gods which the believers all have so creatively imagined to exist.

nobody speaking in the name of their religion uses proof. That is why there are so many religions today, and none can be proven true nor false, because of the lack of evidence. Religion is one of the most creative thoughts ever imagined.
