I was diagnosed with uveitis about 1 year ago. I was placed on steroid drops which raised the pressure in my eyes. I was then prescribed Brimonidine eye drops as well as Timolol eye drops to control the pressure. I still felt that something was off with that treatment plan because my eyes were constanly red, felt heavy and were occasionally painful and light sensitive. So, the other day I decided to research my eye drops to see if there was some sort of correlation between the drops and my not seeing vast improvements in my eye redness and flare-ups while being on this course of treatment. I found that Brimonidine can cause uveitis🤔 . Then I also saw that Brimonidine is an ingredient in Lumify. ----I had been using Lumify for about a year and a half prior to my uveitis diagnosis and because my eyes needed more and more Lumify to maintain the initial whiteness I got when I first started using it, I used way more than I probably should have . have now been off brimonidine for a couple of days and my eyes are feeling a bit better. Acutally, better than they have felt in a long though there are only a few medical journals studying cases where uveitis seem to be caused by Brimonidine, I think it's worth further investigation by the ophthalmology medical community.

I'm just reaching out because I have Anterior Uveitis and was diagnosis about 7 years ago. I'm currently under the care of two specialists for my eye care and one that manages my infusion therapy. My main reason for contacting you is to expand my sources for any new treatments that you my come across. I would be interested in any potential studies or trials that you might have access too. One side note, this all occurred post retinal surgery on my right eye, which I'm now legally blind in now unfortunately. My diagnosis is idiopathic. I know that there are some RNA cell therapies in the first stages but my main Dr. says that they would more than likely make my condition worse. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

One peace of information for those of you diagnosis with uveitis. Use of the eye drop steroids as long term use can cause cataracts. It can happen quickly. Within a six month period I developed a cataract in my left eye which is my good eye.

SOMEONE PLEASE RESPOND. I worked with cleaning cuemical like Clorox etc normal cleaning chemicals but I noticed that by s pure smell my left eye hurted for s couple of seconds but the pain went away in a couple of seconds and day after my eye felt tired all day and the corner of my eye close to the nose is a bit redder blood-like than my other eye. Have this irritated redder left eye for 2 weeks now and I'm scared. I went to an optometrist today and said my eyes look fine and I think he is dumb. I feel like I have sort of eye infection but he said my eye didn't seem like nothing was going on....please someone recommend something
