If you close your eyes on the first time, you listen to It. It just sounds like the summer while you're laying in bed, and all of a sudden, you're about to fall asleep, and you just hear that mosquito.

I’m so torn about upgrading…. I’ve ridden mostly two strokes (snowmachiens and such)
And the first time I got a four stroke it was a Yamaha big bear 350. Single cam, 2 valves air cooled and like maybe 20 hp. It never stopped having issues no matter how many hours I spend rebuilding and rejetting the carb. Eventually the motor developed a tick and I sold it for $200 to a mechanic.

And yet my clapped asf ‘99 ZR600 never gave me one issue.

I then bought a 1989 Kawasaki Ke100 to learn clutch on and ride with my friends CRF250. I loved that bike. Now that I’ve outgrown it I can’t decide between a 250 two stroke or a 250 four stroke. I only ride trails and a four stroke would, on paper, be better.
I was looking at a 2019 KTM 250SXF or a 2020 YZ250.

Premixing would suck, but they’re so much more fun to ride.

Four strokes are hella fun still but less exciting than a two smoke.

More constant top ends on the two stroke but I’d have to deal with valves n shit on the KTM.

Any advice/ help appreciated
