We’re both 28. I’m 55 days older than him!

We started living in the van the 3rd week of July 2022.
What are your real world jobs?
I’m a high school teacher and Andy works in the welding industry.
How do you afford to go a whole year without jobs?
We agreed we won’t ever touch the money in our savings and investments accounts or the money we set aside for a down-payment on our future first home.
We each set aside a good chunk of money from our paychecks for this year of travel.
We sold our vehicles after buying the van, which helped a lot.
And we both agree that if we run out of money earlier than we expected, that would mean it’s time to call it and head back to the real world!
