After more than thirty years of service as one of the Navy’s top aviators, Pete “Maverick” Mitchell (Tom Cruise) is where he belongs, pushing the envelope as a courageous test pilot and dodging the advancement in rank that would ground him. When he finds himself training a detachment of Top Gun graduates for a specialized mission the likes of which no living pilot has ever seen, Maverick encounters Lt. Bradley Bradshaw (Miles Teller), call sign: “Rooster,” the son of Maverick’s late friend and Radar Intercept Officer Lt. Nick Bradshaw, aka “Goose.” Facing an uncertain future and confronting the ghosts of his past, Maverick is drawn into a confrontation with his own deepest fears, culminating in a mission that demands the ultimate sacrifice from those who will be chosen to fly it.

Hats off to the interviewers they did a Fantastic job. This film was supposed to come out in 2020 I remember Tom making a surprise apoearance at Comic Con to share a sneak peek clip and then COVID HIT. Nice to see it coming to fruition 2 years later.

My brother & I pretty much bankrupted our parents after Top Gun came out, I was 10, my lil bro was 5. I think we burned out 5 or 6 VCR tapes, killed 1 VCR, had to buy a new 1, and of course, when DVD's came out we went through 3 or 4.. thank God we now have streaming! We could say the script w/o watching the movie. 'Top Gun - Maverick' comes out on my brother's B-DAY. Happy B-day bro.. We feel the need, the need for speed!

Incredible job and skilled interviewers! I am in San Diego on vacay and had no idea this event was happening until I was standing at the USS Midway Aircraft Carrier and a local told me Tom Cruise was about to land a helicopter on the carrier and less than 30 minutes later he did! What a cool thing to witness! I am stoked to see Tom Gun: Maverick!

This was a premiere for the books. So much positivity and good spirits. We've all needed it, and this is what Hollywood is supposed to do! I think it's plain to see that Tom is completely genuine and sincere about his passion for entertaining the world. He puts others before himself, gives credit where credit is due, and doesn't do anything he wouldn't be willing to do himself. I think history will view him as the greatest movie star of his era. I feel fortunate to be a witness to his career while he's been at the top of his game. Oh -- and Monica Barbaro and Jennifer Connelly are absolutely stunning women! Good Lord!

Say what you will about Tom and all that we've seen over the years, to me that doesn't matter. What matters is what he does on that big screen, and no matter what your feelings may be of Tom he is a brilliant actor and so well respected, his reputation for being kind and generous to everyone he meets is justified.

When I first saw the trailer, and I heard "They're called orders, Maverick" my first thought was what that experience was like being called that character again after all these years, anyone whose been a fan of Tom's for any length of time knows how much the first Top Gun meant to him, and I can't even imagine what it was like to able to play him again.

SO excited for this movie!! 22 days and counting!!
