Highest Tides in the World

I want to share with you a place that will blow your mind! At low tide, you can go for a walk on the ocean floor. And after just a few hours, you could be scuba diving in the same spot! It’s a place that you have to see to believe.

And because I’m a geek about this science stuff, I also found out WHY the tides are so massive here.

The tides are caused by the gravitational forces exerted on the earth by the moon, and to a lesser extent, the sun. Tides have nothing to do with the movement of land.

You actually will not find dinosaur fossils here, the fossils here are up to 250 million years before dinosaurs ever walked the earth. Its really cool, it was mostly plants and some reptile like creatures and some small Carboniferous creatures. Lots if coal deposits too.
