Thank you. My echo sounded like I was speaking in an empty room. I didn't realise muting the desktop audio was needed and that it would make such a difference. That fixed the echo

What do you have for echoes that aren't from the microphone? My game is echoing and I don't know why.

If you have a mic and you’re doing reaction videos it’s best to mute your mic. This actually helped me. I kept fixing the settings and nothing was working till I realized it was picking up the sound from my headphones on my mic. Hope this helps.

Fixed it thanks! I had one called Mic/Aux that was capturing sound along side the Audi Input Capture, disabling the colume fixed the echo :D

thank you so much. I figured out that it was actually from originally my headphones and then I went on and turn off my headphones but it was still having the echo and apparently it was actually when I turned on my mic so I could hear myself my device audio also made it echo again when I was trying to fix it.

Thanks for your tutorial. In hindsight, I wish I knew it was a problem before I recorded a zoom meeting using OBS Studio. The recording result has a bad echo. So in my case, the recording with the echo needs to be fixed. Is there a way to do that? Thanks in advance!

It's my gameplay that's echoing any help?

It sounds like a vibrating problem more than a echo

Hi, I have an echo during one or two minutes, the frequency is totally random, that's only when I'm streaming, sometimes during two hours there is any problem, sometimes it's come back every hours.
I'm musician so I know y material and I've tried all solutions in two years

Thanks, I will try to adjust, but expected from obs switching between audio sources, while I switch scenes. But that doesn’t happen. Maybe there are other adjustments? I do not hope really, just may be? When I speak to someone on Skype, there is no echo, but when I hear record - it is. I put my opponent speaker into output, and added to my scene only microphone, but seems that there is no switching, it is just on all the time, all devices are on, not depending which scene is on the output screen.

My desktop audio when screen recording is echoing, I dont use any mic and didnt record mic. Only record audio from desktop, and still echoing a little bit. I tried newest and older version of OBS, tried turning off all monitoring, try anything on the internet, and still the same. Any solution?

I have followed this video and messed around with filters for weeks. Despite having a furnished room with high quality mic and noise/echo canceling, my mic is severely echoey and the quality is literally trash.

I like to stream and make videos, please help :(
