Since 11 years after the discovery of the first trojan asteroid named as 2010 TK7, researchers have
confirmed the existence of a second trojan asteroid for Earth.

This new trojan asteroid has been
named as 2020 XL5 and it is spread across a diameter of 1.2
kilometers. Trojan are asteroids that shares the same orbit as our planet, going around the Sun.

They are clustered around one of two special gravitationally balanced areas along the orbit of the planet known as Lagrange points.

It is a NEO that is expected to stay in orbit for the next 4,000 years before deviating away.

This asteroid can serve as the perfect space base to set out space exploration missions in
the solar system.

Trojan asteroids, which take their name from Greek mythology, Jupiter has more than 5,000 known Trojan asteroids that race ahead of and trail behind the giant planet.

Scientists said that several planets in the Solar System are known to have Trojan asteroids, but 2020 XL5 is only the second known Trojan asteroid found near Earth.

Well these asteroids that are in the same orbit that we are maybe we need to start mining those asteroids and getting them closer to Earth so we can do something with them or have a mining s*** that takes care of this problem
