So they find a huge skeleton on the bottom of the ocean they can't identify so they send it to a paranormal researcher? I would have gone with a marine biologist smh

1:49 Why would one send that video to a Paranormal Researcher... and not a marine zoologist or similar?

Why didn’t they grab a piece of that skeleton so a DNA test could be done? Crazy

personally, the sea is a far more enticing and thought-provoking challenge than space

I spent 20+ years on US Navy Subs (SSBN's).... one night we literally hit "something" else in the water (Not going into detail bc it's technically classified lol) was 100% not another Sub or Ship or Rocks or anything... whatever it was SURFACED, and literally flew away. We only know this via the incredibly sophisticated equipment on board. Our NCO brushed it off as an Error. This actually happened one other time (Identical situation) on another Sub within 500 miles where we were. God only knows what we hit...

For the Indonesian submarine crew, that must of been a horrifically scary, and brutal death. To be thousands of meters deep in pitch black water, to know there are no life boats if somethings happens down there. Personally I could never trust a submarine... if I cant get up above water quickly, no thank you. That is not a fun death

Ah yes, a world war TWO submarine sunk in 1918 continues a longer trend of sea monster tales that dates back to the 1930s....

A truly terrible video

The bones in the first bit are from what's called a whale-fall.

About that airplane reef.. it's made of aluminum, which is poisonous, especially in sea water, so it won't make a good reef. Planes from WW2 have very little sea growth on them, even after 70 years. Better a steel hulled ship anytime or even a wooden boat.

The giant whale skeleton could have drifted a 500-1000 miles....a huge whale will float dead for months

The "Endurance" is SO beautiful still. She is still in 'pristeen' shape due to the temperature of the water. among other factors.
