reminds me a bit of vespertine's microbeats, and I like the weird feeling of this big, heavy anvil above me swinging like a pendulum right at the beginning (this was the image that came to my mind) it reminds me volta, I think this album there are many things from her other albums, mainly medulla.

It’s scary how much well articulated wisdom is in all of Fossoras tracks (except for Atopos‘ in your face attitude which makes it so great). I feel like anyone can really dig a bit deeper after inhaling the lyrics, especially victimhood, Freefall and Ovule are beautiful inspiration for working on stable relationships with the ones you love or want to love so bad

I went through a 5 year depression. I'm not ashamed to admit I felt suicidal and was self harming at that time. This song knocked all the air out of me when I heard it. I'm so much better now, but this song completely captured how I felt back then.

Someone on amazon said this song was too gloomy it's suppose to be and that is the point of the entire album it starts with atopos being the good things about life and starts with the half side of the album victimhood about the bad side of death but also finding light and healing from a loss of a loved one in the process I lost my grandma back in 2019 so I can relate with how bjork feels about losing her mother it's a awful feeling but as we relive the good memories of our loved ones light always beats the rays of darkness clouding over us

It's true.. you have to see things in Birds view. Its too easy to microfocus on every bad thought, it distorts the truth around you. You make negative assumptions, about yourself and others. You see the world as a more dim place if you believe every bad thought.

You think this is the song with “beats that act like a virus”? The beginning reminds me of “poltergeist”….a lot. I bet it’s a response to “black lake”. Has same heavy-hearted beat almost. One of my fav songs ever by her.
