The clarinet melody in song Victimhood could've been inspired by Stravinsky's ballet depicting a sacrifice of a chosen victim to appease Mother Earth. Both stories have much in common.

the rite of spring is my favorite classical piece and i wouldnt be surprised if bjork was inspired by it. most interpretations of the ballet's ending are that the girl is chosen to be sacrificed by a ritual dance (think like midsommar) and is forced to literally dance until she dies

Well it's a beautiful story . The true sacrifice is made throughout life, it's repetitive, been going on for quit some time now. Not just here in this lifetime, although, there has been lots of those made here too.
In the end we all have mercy and grace given freely, well not freely as we se all make sacrifices. I am here homeless, although I sleep in a homeless shelter se so it's not like I'm sacrificing anything as I am wear I'm suppose to be right.
