Her songs are like a painting. When you listen you can feel the lyrics, you can touch the story she’s telling.

The beginning is so cold, it sounds like the lowest point in the sea

Her ability to blend genres and experiment with sound is truly unparalleled.

Had the opportunity to experience the live debut of the song and visuals in Lisbon, best night ever ❤

I like how Björk doesn't take care, about what people will think, she just shows her pure self in art. It's almost alien and I love it.

I agree with Björk She now feels physically rooted, and emotionally, she says, there is no divorce trauma left to dredge. “I’m over it, ” she says, waving a hand. “It’s absolutely finished.” Nonetheless, after wormholing in psychology podcasts, she became fascinated with Jungian victimhood archetypes, trotting them out at dinner parties and insisting that friends, too, identify their flavor of victimhood. Her own complex—deferring her needs to benefit staff, friends, and family—creates a “topsy-turvy” headspace, she says. “You think you’re being the hero, but you’re actually sacrificing something, and then you become a victim.”

I really don't understand how this small Icelandic woman GETS ME. Over the entire course of my life, I have resonated with her music. I have yet to see her in concert... Bjork, I thank you from the depths of my soul...

I'm glad animation has gotten to the point where she can easily express her vision in her media.

Wow, so creative and haunting. It’s taken me to age 64 to finally “get” Björk and her music and it’s like nothing else. Hopefully she tours the US again. I don’t care how far I have to travel, I really want to catch a live performance!

Lyrics:

Victimhood
I heed the call to step out of
Victimhood
Has a saintly glow
Holier than thou
It erased my shadow (shadow)
Only birds-eye view
Can help me transcend this archetype
Oh, who am I
That this has happened to?
Victimhood
Rejection, it left a void that is never satisfied
Sunk into victimhood
Felt the world owed me love
Only birds-eye view
Can help me transgress out of this hole
Who am I
That this has happened to?
To transgress us beyond our tragedy
Took one for the team
I sacrificed myself to save us
I rejected myself
Sacrificed myself
I felt sorry for myself
To transgress us out of this tragedy
I sacrificed myself
Took one for the team
To transgress us, to save us
Beyond our tragedy, to save us
I sacrificed myself
Victimhood
Victimhood
I heed a call out of victimhood
Out of
Out of
Of victimhood
Here I go now

Glad she’s using her platform to bring this concept more into the forefront for people. This is one of the most important tracks she’s ever created.

This is a very strange artwork. The bass clarinet evokes an odd mood of early 20th century experimental music and the visuals, likewise, surreal painting and early stop frame animation. It's haunting and beautiful.

This is absolutely breathtaking in so many ways & quite synchronistic for me after just discussing a "falling out" with a friend yesterday. I was thinking that I hate feeling like I'm "playing the victim" but recounting the situation helps me learn from it instead of letting it (or the narcissist involved) drag me down.

This Song its 2 different songs running alongside in different directions and in the Middle they form a 3rd one due to disonance. Really impresive, u need to listen this with headphones and try to find the 3rd one.
Split the 2 songs in your brain and try to see the 3rd.

Last year you released Atopos on 09.06, the day before my 38th birthday. I was surprised and amused... Today you showed us this beautiful peace of art, on my 39th birthday. Both song and video are unique, rare thing to see, specially nowadays... As a drawer i apreciate animation since i was a child... Thank you once again Björk, my favourite artists OF ALL TIME!❤❤❤

I love the roaring bass/synths on it in the beginning.
And btw, a bird's eye view would certainly help me these days :P
