Four Types of Speech Delivery:
Impromptu, Extemporaneous, Manuscript and Memorized

Delivery Method- way in which the speech will be conveyed

Impromptu Speech- A speech that has no advanced planning or practice

Tips in Impromptu Speech
a. Think for a second about what you are going to say
b. Keep your points brief and to the point
c. Take a few seconds between thoughts to compose yourself

Extemporaneous Speech
Involves the speaker's use of notes and some embellishment, and this has a disadvantages and advantages

Manuscript Speech- Reads every word from a pre-written speech

Tips in using Manuscript Speech:
a. Maintain a conventional tone of voice
b. Be sure the content of the speech is already interesting to the audience

Memorized Speech- Memorizing the information in a speech and presenting it without using notes, also in this speech it has advantages and disadvantages

Tips for Memorized Speech
a. Write the speech in language familiar to you
b. Practice your speech several times prior to the event
c. Breath between thoughts
d. Remain relaxed

Regardless of the type of speech delivery you choose the most important thing to remember is that the speech is about your audience to wrap things up there are four types of speech delivery methods, whatever methods you choose keep the audience in mind.
