Because of this, I won our contest in 1st place. The question given to us is "Take a stand on the no-homework policy" and I wrote my piece about 5 paragraphs long in 2 minutes, had 8 minutes to remember that piece and reminded myself that I am talking to people, I want my speech to be heard, so I had confidence and delivered it right and at first I thought I was gonna lose, but I won 1st place. I was so happy.

I love the confidence. The gestures are good as well as the pronunciation. She talked conversationally. All in all, it was an awesome performance for a high school student like her.

To the people who got extreme anxiety, there are a lot of various reasons why you got that fear and I don't know what's the cause of yours, but I just wanna say that yes, it is tough, but you will not regret being brave in this situation, the reward for your braveness will be very overwhelmingly good. I know it is cliche to say this but stop overthinking, relax, clear your mind, focus on what you're going to do instead of what others will think of you and you'll be fine.

I don't know if this works on you but ask yourself on why you are afraid of it, is the reason actually worth to be afraid of?
