Three basic types of speech
-informative speech
This kind of speech is delivered mostly to convey
Information to the audience about something they don't already knows
•it gives knowledge and information to the audience

-Persuasive Speech
It is a type of speech in which the speaker has a goal for convincing the audience to accept his or her pov.
•The speech is arranged in such a way as to hopefully cause the audience to accepyall or part of the expressed view
-Type if persuasive speech
1.Factual persuasive
2.Value persuasive
3.Policy persuasive
-FACTUAL PERSUASIVE
it is based on whether or not a particular topic is true, and is backed up by concrete evidence.
This type of speech persuades the audience as to whether something exist or does not exist, whether it happened or did not happen.
-VALUE PERSUASIVE
it is a speech about whether or not something is right or wrong it questions the moral or ethical aspect of an issue
-POLICY PERSUASIVE
it is a speech given to convince an audience to either support or reject a policy, rule, or candidate.
Examples:
Persuasive speech- Debate, Panel discussion, sales and Campaign election
-ENTERTAINMENT SPEECH
it is a speech designed to captivate an audience attention and regale or amuse them while delivering a message.
It is often delivered on special occasions. Which is why they are sometimes reference to as special-occasion speeches
Remember, when we suse the word "entertain" we are referring not just to humor but also to drama. The goal of an entertaining speech is to stir an audience's emotions.
