Secret Armor Location & Overpowered Shield Weaver! Horizon Forbidden West Best Armor & Skills

Here is a quick guide on how to get the best armor which is a secret legendary armor you get as a reward along with the new shield weaver skill called overshield. The armor is called the Oseram Artificer and is given as a reward for completing a set of salvage contractor quests. Once you complete those salvage contractor quests from the locations shown you should have the secret Oseram Artificer Armor or in other words the legendary and best armor in Forbidden West along with possibly the best skill called overshield.

i really wanted to keep my shield weaver armor that i got on zero dawn years ago.

One thing to note is that the Oseram Artificer armor got slightly nerfed in the latest patch, it now caps out at a melee defense of 55 instead of 65, putting it in line with the other Legendary armors.

Well thank you for showing me most powerful armor because the contracts first guy was getting on my nerves kept asking for parts. Anyway Now I know it’s worth it I’ll do all them for some good armor

Nora thunder warrior legendary armour
And very rare spike thrower with advanced spikes upgraded 5 times
Powershots valor surge
Basically either 1 shot or 2 short almost all machine
And for huge class machines you kill em in about 3-4 shots

Nora thunder warrior is the best armor in my opinion. The over shield valor surge maxed out is a must have for sure, it’s my favorite valor surge.

in regards to the survivor tree u dont need to purchase all 8 nodes around the valour skill especially the 2 skills either side, u can unlock it with a minimum of 5 nodes, the 3 that link into the middle and the 2 connecting ones

The oserom armor is only good for melee if you're using bows alot then use nora thunder armor

I wouldn't say it's the best for all playstyles, if you forgo melee and go heavy ranged/stealth there are better armors. It is however the best melee armor and the 1st or 2nd best in most other areas so if you're not about min maxing to the extreme then it's definitely the one to go for.

The legendary tenakth armour actually has generally higher stats overall making it the best armour in the game.

you can increase your health even more if you consume a large health potion, local stew then shield

Thunder Warrior armor you get from Arena vendor is the best armor in this game.... but this armor is good for melee attacks

Shield weaver in HFW is far from overpowered. It's handy... that's about it.
The original shield weaver, pre-nerf was OP. Post nerf was strong and deserving of end-game play.
This new thing is... just useful.
As evidence, consider this:
The OG armor withstood a Hella nerf, and was still the best armor in the game by a large margin.
This new ability would become insta-trash with the smallest of nerfs.
Artificer is decent, and pretty good when maxed out. Combined with the sw ability, you just might survive the alpha spino..
I mean apex. Lol.

This armor does even look that good. For style thats gotta go to the Carja Blazon set. Arguably the most stylish armor set in the game. Carja always have the best stuff.👌
