The trick is to lure Odie into the dining room and NOT the hallway that leads to the kitchen. If you can get Odie to the dining room you can take him to the bunker. Then you’re one step closer to the good ending.

The sequel to the classic gameboy horror game, gorefield takes place before the events of its predecessor. It implemented major gameplay changes, making it a bit of a controversial entry in the Garfield series. The major difference is the massive difficulty spike between the two games. Odie only has one inventory slot (his mouth) and has a faster filling scent meter, making the game way harder. Think the first games extreme mode, but with a far weaker jon and the inability to make lasagna (unless you can find the "door guy" room but that only spawns dhring a second playthrough so it doesn't really count.) My personal favorite addition is the fear mechanic. As Odie begins to panic, he begins to hallucinate. This can be a surprisingly helpful feature though, as the hallucinations can lead to some much needed items (the only way to get a lasagna other than door guy is through the hallucinations) My main problem with this game is it's odd continuity with the previous title. All in all, pretty good sequel. 8/10

For those who are uninformed, this is the opening for Jim Davis' "Gorefield" (2011). This was an attempt to revive the franchise for the purpose of fan-service. The game was drastically different in the sense that you didn't even play as Jon, you played as some no-name character. Although it was praised by critics, fans were displeased as it was not a complete return to form and the mechanics felt more simple than the first game. Another problem the game suffered from was that there was only TWO endings which were only affected by one choice rather than multiple.This game was infamous at the time for a video of a journalist attempting to play the game and failing on the tutorial level
