For such a silly idea, this worked pretty well. The sprites are all great, nice GameBoy vibe to it. I don't think that final boss fight was necessary though, that looked more tedious than fun. At minimum, it didn't need three phases to it. Still, you can tell the developer put work into this.

Yeah, this was a pretty cool, cute little game, but it was about twice as long as it needed to be and it could've leaned more heavily on its inspiration instead of trending into the generic.

i agree with manly when he said the other creatures aren't as cool/scary as the first one, that was a complaint i saw a lot on another letsplay of this too
the other enemies just don't follow the same gorefield design theme (neither does the 'plot') and that hurts the game a bit considering 'gorefield' is in the title

Oh my god I've seen the artwork of Lumpy... I can't believe someone made an actual video game based on his creepy ass idea. The absolute mad lad. I think I was more terrified by your reckless play sometimes than the actual game.


The section with the game kind of tricking you into thinking you need to turn the lights on was fantastic, honestly. What a way to play with player expectations yet also terribly annoying. I have never been more terrified of a pig in my entire life than right now.


I agree with you a lot on the pig section; the backtracking in that area looks absolutely terrible, like, it is almost shocking how boring that looks.



The sound that plays during the hand explosion thing really hurts my ears. I wish the volume was just a tiny bit quieter. That last boss fight is just... kinda bad.


I'm glad our little boy got out safe. Good boy! He deserves to be safe. I love you little lasagna boy.
