One big critique I'd like to make is that while it was absolutely true that the sheer size and varied geography of China made it difficult to effectively govern in the past, modern technology and the power of nationalism has made it possible to maintain state control over vast, even non-contiguous areas. There's nothing to suggest that the current form of government is limited by China's geography, digital communications and their high-speed rail systems means moving information, people and goods is easier than ever.

Love how you break down the structure of north, central and south of China and understanding the country from that perspective. My family is a mix of all 3 region and it’s a fun mix of people. As much as I disagree with CCP, I hate to see what happens when the country breaks apart again. I’m born in Taiwan, so my only concern is if we’ll ever get a break from their threat 😂
