This bloke isn't a flashy player. But he knows what he's doing. Love his style.

Wow. I've never played a synthesizer or even a broken piano. This sounds awesome.

8:20 mark. Sheesh. That sound alone makes you want to buy the board.

Sounds are good for all-around workstation. Unfortunate they made Poly AT exclusive to 88...a lot of sales lost for that.

Wow😮, I’m liking the new sounds from the from the M8x. It’s not like the first Montage 8.

Beautiful piece of equipment, wicked demo, it's safe to say I'm sold on the idea. Now if only I had a spare £4k🤔😆

Michael forgot to mention, not only does the M8x offer the Rotory sound for the organ, the Faders can be reversed and used as Drawbars...

Hey Michael, I wanted to let you know that your playing is absolutely amazing. I was wondering if you could put together a demo of your keyboard playing sounds that are commonly used by church musicians. Although we do play similar sounds such as pianos, electric pianos, and pads, most of us tend to stick to those basic ones. I'm personally a GOSPEL and now CCM musician, so I mostly use piano, pads, organs, and brass instruments. Yamaha's Dx-7 patches and s700 for Montage, as well as their CFX and Concert Grand Pianos are some of my favorites. Would you be able to make a video using those enhanced on the new M8x? I'm particularly interested in hearing you play the Felt Piano and the new Electric Pianos and Pads that the M8x will offers. I also wanted to mention that while I do like the Nord Stage 3, Yamaha is my go-to brand. Yamaha has mastered the art of the weighted keys and I hear that this board is unbelievable to as it relates to it feel. If you are unable to make the video, I plan on making my own once I purchase my Montage M8x. I really want to show Nord users that the sounds and feel of the Montage, especially the new Montageable. M8x, are unbeatable.

The greatest change imho is the architecture under the hood - more elements available per program and addition of more controllers and visual feedback. I think there will be more sounds down the line. I wonder if there will be another engine through the update?

Absolutely lovely Michael, my next keyboard for sure may I ask so you have a Yamaha sustain pedal and a Yamaha expression pedal both ? Do you happen to know the manufacturer of the stand ? Regards, Danny.

This keyboard looks almost perfect… too bad they just didn’t put 4x4 Pads in place of the 4x4 buttons on the right to select sounds and categories. It would have been perfect with the additional Pads to be used to play drums, start loops, etc… (like the Fantom)

Ridiculous price for M6x without polyphonic aftertouch !!!
I can't understand Yamaha's thinking on this ?

Nice, however we are still with sounds from 4 decades ago, I ask, can't they create synthesizers with modern and new sounds? or is this all there is?

Are they coming out with a smaller version of this keyboard workstation?

Does the Montage have recording capacity ? If yes, how many tracks can we use ?
