The translation from digital (CBCT, intraoral scanning, and laboratory scanners) into the clinical field opens any number of treatment possibilities at the surgical and the prosthodontics level. The incorporation of such technologies calls for an update on implant-prosthodontic workflows to successfully achieve a full digital approach to implant dentistry.
Learning Objectives: At the completion of this presentation, participants should be able to:
1. Be familiar with the use of dental digital technology in implant dentistry
2. Understand the potential of intraoral scanning in implant dentistry
3. Evaluate implant-prosthetic protocols in a fully digital workflow
Originally presented at AAID's 2014 Annual Conference
