Getting ready for the asvab tomorrow and realized I forgot how to do division without a calculator 😂

I can explain the other way. So take your dividend and write it on a piece of paper.If you don't know what's a dividend, here's an example: 545 Divided by 5. The dividend is 545 and the divisor is 5. Then write a vertical line and a horizontal line like the YouTuber did and then write the divisor at the left of the vertical line and then divide, multiply, subtract and bring down. Then repeat it untill you get the answer. The method is called Long Division. Thank you for reading my comment!😊

= (500 + 45)÷5
= 100 + 9
= 109

45 doesn't go into 5. 5 goes into 45 9 × . you said it does. Why?
