I was curious, if I have some interesting subjects like theories about black holes and the unknown; and I write about the same "ideas" years apart, should I separate those thoughts..?
I have diaries, dreams and "theoretical" things, and can't decide if I should include them all in one journal, or separate them up by subjects...

Agree with everything but with paper journal you can't:
1 bring 20 years of journaling all together with you
2 say what you were doing on feb 2022 and also on aug 2005
3 search quickly what lamp you bought for your car light, when and where you got it
4 say how much and when did you pay for electricity bill
My family thinks it's a waste of time but my passion for journaling saved my a$$ more than one time.
