Dr. Wayne Grudem on why pastors should attend seminary

Sadly, I have met a lot of seminary graduates who have little character and little wisdom when it comes to teaching from the bible. Character and wisdom are not taught in seminary, these are things given by God to people who truly desire to know Him. And this is not only attainable through a degree.

He starts off by using false wisdom and compares serving God with being a lawyer or a doctor this is what you call manipulation

This is man centered

It's as if to believe that the prophesers who teach are infallible
I'm not completely against seminary I'm all for devotion to Gods Word and His truth, Love, and Wisdom
I'm against the idea that going to seminary proves that you are in Service because you love God and are in it to bring Him Glory and not a pharisee

It all comes down to the individual and his motives which only God knows but men can show their motives by their actions that's why Jesus says that you will know them by their fruits concerning false teachers

The Bible wants us to rightly divide God's word of truth, the problem with seminary is a lot of modernism, false scientific ideas, and socialism among other thing has severely crept in
Studying in any format and learning God's word is about Him and not about us but seminary has become about us, everybody is looking for a way to become somebody
rather than becoming like Him and it is He that brought salvation, truth and Love to the world not us

false analogy....the Christian experience is a spiritual and not an academic endeavor....ergo the early church, or the one before Christianity became legal...and adopted all of the culture of Rome...ergo the professional....the question is why, with the seminaries, with all of their academics, continue the non scriptural traditions, found in almost every Christian Church, literally, around the world...
