I've been taking hyaluronic acid for 1 day and my 98 year old skin looks like new!

You are our beloved NERD . I was looking for someone who willing to juice out their brain cells by reading the research articles, analyzing the methods/results/charts/data/conflicts, AND drawing unbiased conclusions on them. I'm finally done with my search . YOU ARE THE GUY [now imagine yourself glowing] 🌄🌅. I frequently surf JAMA, PUBMED, NCBI, and ScienceDirect, but lately, I just don't have the time to finish reading them all. I also appreciate how calm, patient, and ridiculously smart you are at describing complex mechanisms and tackling difficult subjects. Keep it up!!!

I got the B, then C correct. But the lighting also looks different in intensity. I remember reading about a pinch test. Pinch your back hand skin for 10 seconds and time the return to flatness, Unscientifically, oral ingestion of HLA and vitamin C obviously improved my skin in one month. Relaxation time of my skin went from around 5 seconds to less than one second.

I’m 70 F. I used HAcid topically for quite a long time. Didn’t really see the benefit. Recently, started glopping my face, arms, knees and feet with high quality pure CASTOR OIL (in a dark glass bottle). Big difference! My skin absorbs it like crazy, looks and feels substantially better!

Hydrolyzed collagen with all peptides also is needed with hyaluronic acid. Also growing human growth hormone levels via fasting and exercise techniques or using semorelin or such peptides. A lot of skin health has to do with gut health and fasting windows and reducing carbohydrates, lectins, and processed food.

Topical hyaluronic acid generally seems to be a bit overrated in its anti aging benefits. The difference compared to the plethora of other humectants, including the all too common glycerin, seems negligible. Glycerin unlike hyaluronic acid can also penetrate to the level of the dermis.

It plumps the skin, but lecithin will do something similar while also being excellent for internal tissues as well, and will also provide hepatic protection

Your presentation of different methods of HLA intake are extremely valuable. I started taking it orally after I went through two series of HLA injections directly into my knees. (Yes, that sounds scary, but the MD used ultrasound imaging to make sure the needle never touched anything sensitive: the only thing I felt was a small prick on needle-insertion, then the pressure of added fluid within the knee capsule.) Those saved me from having to have knee-replacement surgery! (Before that, at one point, I was 45° leg-pressing 1100 lbs. [have never taken steroids]; probably too much.wt, tho..)

I really like this kinda content. You're crunching through all these studies.

I feel a lack of study that compares not only to some placebo in skincare, but to other humectants too. To me the reduction of wrinkles seems to be connected to hydration provided by HA. In this case I suspect any other humectant, like Glycerin/Urea/Sodium PCA, will do the same job.

Oral vitamin l vitamin E prevented my stretch Mark's from worsening after first . Had 3 more. I think it may be a kin to wrinkles in some way. Also white fish seems to prevent forehead lines and pine bark extract for between the brows. At 68 I'm not selling just sharing. 🦉

I value a lot the fact that you compare "things" and then try to draw some logical conclusion. Great video.

I've taken HA orally in various forms and it really seems to work. Makes my face noticeably smoother & softer.

When I noticed how often you touch your nose in various ways, it made me think of Prince Charles (now King) at the wedding of his son, William, when as he entered the Cathedral, in one sweeping movement stroked along his lengthy proboscis and continued the movement reaching out to shake the hand of one of the clergy. Thinking as I do I wondered if the clergyman wondered to himself where that nose might have been recently. Inspired by his hacked message to Camilla. Thought I'd share.
