👉 Advantages of Bridge

1.) Bridge devices help to extend the network, which means we can connect two or more networks.
2.) It broadcast the data to each nod or system like Hub or repeater.
3.) Collision can be reduced easily, which means if sending and receiving happing at the same time it will do that instead of destroying the data.
4.) It is more intelligent as it checks the MAC address and then sends the data.

👉 Disadvantages of Bridge

1.) It does not establish a connection between two different networks.
2.) If the bridge sends the message, then it is difficult to stop that message.
3.) It is Expensive.
4.) The transmission rate of data is slower than the repeater.
