I have also started to love this feature in situations where the light is constantly changing and just a slight lapse of concentration can ruin a shot, you are a very good teacher and I would really like to see you do some tutorials not just with camera functions but your approach to photography, your clear concise approach without overwhelming is excellent

This is a great way to shoot Action, Sports and wildlife.

Makes it easy to set the parameters that are important, discovered this after upgrading from a 6D & 5D3 to a 5D4

Shutter Speed = Important to select one thats fast enough for what Im shooting.
Aperture = Also very important to ensure I have enough DOF.
ISO = Not so important, I just try to keep this as low as possible to get the cleanest image.

I also love that you can now use Exposure compensation with Auto ISO (Something that I often said I wanted to be able to do with the 6D, and couldn't)

Great video, and very well explained.

Great tutorial. I don't generally shoot wildlife, but this will be immensely helpful in shooting nightclubs and nightlife events in extreme low light without flash. I can be creative with my shutter speed and aperture without having to constantly toggle my ISO to account for changing lighting conditions. I'm not worried about too high of an ISO since the 5DMkIV has amazing high ISO performance, and whatever noise does find its way in is more acceptable in nightclub photography than it is in wildlife or portraits. Thank you for posting.

Wow. I came up with the same settings. I am glad to see that this is a sound approach. THX, Grant.

Great video, I was already shooting in auto ISO on my 5d IV but didn't realize that I could use exposure compensation at the same time so I've been struggling with the best way to capture the owls I've been photographing as it gets close to dark. Thank you for the video, it's a real help.

Great video. I will be watching them all over he next couple weeks as I have a 5D MK IV coming as I am upgrading from a 50D that is starting to kick the bucket and I really like wildlife and BIF photography and wanted to go with a full frame since I started with Canon film cameras so many years ago. Keep up the good work. Many thanks.
