Sure such a small company is probably freaking out after getting such a good recommendation from a dermatologist and an influencer. Wonder if they started getting all these orders not knowing why🙂. Happy to support a Canadian small business so will pick up a serum!

I wrote to their customer services last week asking whether there are any duty and import taxes for delivery to the UK. They replied within 1 hour saying that they are absorbing all costs to UK customers until there is clarity on what duties etc are payable. I was super impressed by the speed of their response as well as their willingness to make the buying experience as painless as possible for the customer. I’ve order all their products to trial for myself.

I'm an aesthetician and I was really intrigued by this brand as it seemed really no-nonsense and science based. I tried all their products and I really enjoyed them. My favorites were the Level Serum and C.R.E.A.M. These really helped me with skin brightening and skin dehydration respectively. The only one I had an issue with is actually Vitamin X. I love the concept of the product and the ingredients. Unfortunately, it turns my face neon yellow and makes me look like a Simpson's character. I reached out to the company and they said they were aware of the issue and that this sometimes happens with people who are Fitzpatrick types 1-2 and use mineral sunscreen. I am both of those things. If you use a chemical sunscreen with the product or you have a darker complexion you probably won't encounter that problem. They also said they are reformulating to take care of this issue. All in all, they have awesome customer service and are great company.

Your review of Vitamin X just made me realize I haven't seen a NIOD review video from you. Specifically their Survival 0 (antioxidant serum) and Modulating Glucosides (repair serum). I consider your perspective to be one of the most valuable, so I really hope you'll consider doing a review on some of their products. Thank you!

CREAM has 2% real ceramides unlike other brands' moisturizers. Real ceramides are very expensive and other brands actually use very few ceramides or fake ones.

Love Regimen!! I love their willingness to educate on their website and on their IG. I’ve asked several questions and they’ve always responded in a way I can understand, which I appreciate! The Vitamin X stains my skin yellow that develops throughout the day. Super interesting but when I reached out to them, they said it’s due to it interacting with my sunscreen! Thought that was interesting. They’re working on an alternative version, but would only come out with it as long as it’s still a beneficial product. I love their honesty as a brand. I also found I wasn’t able to use Vitamin X and Level AND tret in one day. Sticking to one serum helped me so much. I also found that Wave stung and burned so bad! I wanted to love it, but it was too uncomfortable 😭

Vitamin X review has got my attention! A request for a future topic: Effects of water used for bathing. Here's why: After losing City water for a few days, I used whatever water I had in the house to take a bucket bath. That water happened to be 3 one gallon jugs of Ozarka Spring water, which I was able to heat up on the stove. Result was the significant improved comfort of my skin. (My City water has chloramines and not chlorine.) Since then, I have experimented with the removal of chloramines (and more) from my tap water and got similar good results in the shower. Good, but not as good as the spring water, in my opinion. Btw, I have sensitive skin.
