How to RIDE a SCOOTER/MOPED!

For me at least I found riding a scooter easy, but I discovered from letting my friends ride my scooter, that not everyone picks it up as easily as I did. Therefore, I thought some people might find it useful if I made a video showing you how to ride a scooter, based on the knowledge I have learnt from my own experiences, and from teaching my friends.

really nice neighborhood. I like that scooter, however Suzuki doesn't provide that particular style of scooter in the US. Too bad.

Hey Kiwi!

I remember watching your video back in March when i was eating up all the information on scooters i could find as was nervously preparing to buy one. Just saw it now again and it reminded me how much time has passed and how much my life has changed since.

Anyways, i've gotten a beautiful old 2005 Kymco Filly and i couldnt be happier for it! it's used and rel cheap but it's my crown achievement of prosperity at the moment, and I am enjoying the scooter lifestyle and going to work on it (no PTSD for cycling-13, 5-km-one-way-to-work-into-headwind again) and it's just so good!
It's funny, i saw your video in March and it seems like half a year, when it was perhaps 2 months. Greetings from Netherlands!

don't forget also that riding where you recommend the car driver can see you in the rear view mirror and the side mirror. if you can see his eyes then he can see you . . I ride a uz50. also riding by the curb gives you less time to react if a car comes out of a drive. also pulling out to pass stationary cars puts you in a blind spot. lots of things to be aware of. carefull on painted road markings in the wet!. :)

The motion of the hand when moving out as you described when you need to move quick is not clear. Cannot see what your hand is doing

I live around the same area, but you have to go on the highway to get just about anywhere. So I'm worried about mixing it with 100Kph traffic on a 50Kph moped. Any suggestions?

Great scooter tutorial, are they auto mix fuel or do you need to premix

Hey question, what happens if you just let go of the throttle and don't give it gas? Will you still move forward or just come to an abrupt stop or something? I've never ridden a scooter before
